By using Atlas you agree to these terms. Atlas is a free, student-run campus app by VinnovateIT, VIT Vellore.
Your account
Sign in with your own VIT Google account and keep your phone secure. You are responsible for what you post.
Reviews and content rules
Reviews must be honest and about the place. Don't post content that:
- harasses, threatens or bullies anyone, or is hateful or sexually explicit;
- impersonates another person, a staff member or the Atlas team;
- shares someone else's personal information;
- is spam, advertising or deliberately misleading.
Use Report on any review that breaks these rules. The Atlas team reviews every report and may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
Information in the app
Opening hours, prices, phone numbers and routes are provided for convenience and may be out of date. Check before you rely on them, and follow campus rules and traffic laws when navigating.
Using Atlas's data
Everything in Atlas, including its spots, campus and indoor maps, photos and reviews, is for your personal use in the app only. Without written permission from VinnovateIT, you may not:
- copy, download in bulk or scrape it, by hand or with tools, bots or scripts;
- sell it, republish it, or use it in another app, website or dataset;
- use it to train or build AI models;
- reach Atlas's servers other than through the app, or get around its limits.
Misusing Atlas data has consequences. We will suspend or delete the accounts involved and block their access, and we may report it to VIT and take legal action.
Changes and ending
We may update the app or these terms; the date above shows the latest version. You can stop using Atlas and delete your account at any time.
